Passionate for motorsports from a young age, I discovered photography a little bit later. Capturing moments as intense as sports becomes a fascination.
I shyly made contact with some drivers to try to break into the field of a car and motorcycle sports. At the same time, I met two photographers, Benoit Gros and Eric Brocard.
In 2003, I was attending most of the French Hillclimb ampionship races with my parents and my friend Gilles Huntzinger, who filmed the championship..
The switch to digital seemed inevitable in 2004 and helped me to better my photography. I worked during all my school vacations to be able to purchase photography equipment and to push my limits.
Throughout the years, I focused more and more on nature and landscape photography, while at the same time continuing with sports. During my free time, I started to photograph concerts.
In 2006, I avoided a serious accident on a race track. It was time for me to take a break. I thus started doing more nature shots and working on my technique. At the same time, I shot the Alsatian Moto Cross Championship.
A friend and fellow photographer gave me a helping hand : François Faton. I covered some business seminars and other similar events with him.
I finished my studies and started to work ; this was the trigger for me. I realized that I couldn't see myself staying in manufacturing my whole life, so I took a chace and started a second occupation as an independant photographer. The beginning has been difficult, but I've given everything to succeed. Some doors have opened for me ; now I have to make good choices...
2009 is a new way in my photographer's career, my friend Gilles Fischer left us tragically. To honor his memory and our common passions in photography and motorsports, I decided to work hard to my success.
After two years away, I come back to the French Hillclimb Championship. I met Fred Sereul with whom I cover the championship and a few rallies.
I have also my first publications in the magazines Auto Hebdo and Compte Tours through him.
Concerts and festivals are also planned with my friend Guy Straumann and I stop to do weddings to focus on motorsports.
